I'm back with another collaboration with gillstudio! Seriously, this cover turned out to be a beast of a song compared to the slow, somber original. Really, how did we turn something that only had piano, strings, and a couple of electronics into a grandiose rock instrumental that moves the masses? I'm still baffled at the product we created. But yeah, this is one of my favorite tracks from P5, possibly from the entire franchise; it's this game's "Reverie" and "Living with Determination." I WANT THIS SONG PLAYED AT MY FUNERAL... ahem.

Anyways, recording took place over a 2 month period where no less than 20 emails were shared between us, bouncing off ideas for arrangements and parts. It trully was a collaborative effort on both our parts. This also, to me, was the best sounding cover I've ever done, as well as one of the most impactful.

I also used in-game footage of specific cut scenes of sad/somber moments of the game to maximize the somber experience of the song; it trully was that special of a cover for us.

Hope you all enjoy this cover as much as we did. We certainly thought we've outdone ourselves from the "Memories of You" cover we last collaborated on! :)
