Traditional "high-quality" men's dress shoes typically come with leather soles, but this is not always the case, nor is it always necessary. Many high quality dress shoes come with Dainite rubber soles, and have all of the other good qualities of a leather soled Goodyear Welted shoe without the worry of getting the leather soles too wet & wearing rubber galoshes.
