I've ridden at Hamsterley Forest on many occasions, but never visited the skills loop. It's situated near the main carpark, close to the start of the Grove Link track and is kind of hidden out of the way. It's not a large loop, but is fun to practice on. Obstacles of varying difficulty that are colour coded like the trails, and all obstacles can be easily bypassed. Best ridden on a dry day as the bigger rocks can be slippy when wet in my brief experience.
