The Massive Mystery Volcanic Eruption in 1808; Found in the Andes?

Описание: One of geology's greatest open mysteries might have been potentially solved. As, a new candidate was identified as a source of the planet's second largest explosive volcanic eruption in the last 250 years. This eruption occurred sometime during December of 1808, causing a volcanic winter. What makes this so mysterious is eruptions of this magnitude tend to be well documented, yet it appears that no one directly observed it.
