Denis Villeneuve's big budget adaptation of Dune is finally here! This has been one of my most anticipated movies ever since it was announced that the director of Arrival and Blade Runner 2049 was at the helm. Grab some spice and settle in for this review!
It might be worth mentioning that I have only seen the 1984 Dune movie; I have not watched the miniseries, nor have I read the original book. Therefore, my enjoyment of the film might differ from someone who is more familiar with all the little details of the book.
Originally I had planned to make this review one part of a larger video reviewing all of Denis Villeneuve's films. However, since I had so much to say about Dune, I gave it its own video for the review. The video reviewing all of the other films will be released later.
