We’ll be honest — this one took some thought.
With RETROcirq now behind us and CIRQ Archives on the horizon, we debated whether to even release this volume. But in the end, it felt right to preserve it — for the record, for the era, and for the strange beauty of it all.
Spokesmodel Soundtrax VI covers the 1992–93 season, remembered (and sometimes side-eyed) as “the all-swimsuit era.” Sunlight, sequins, slow-motion — the 90s distilled into pure spectacle. (Baywatch would be proud.)
To those who click these videos for the wrong reasons: that’s not what this archive is for.
These projects exist to document how television once presented beauty, performance, and advertising — not to exploit the people who appeared in them.
Some segments had to be re-edited due to copyright flagging, but the intention remains: this is not about nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake — it’s about acknowledging what once was, thoughtfully and without irony.
