ROQ’s PRU Pre Registration System saves screen printers time and money when setting up jobs. Currently the most popular ROQ PRU system is the U Channel PRU System which uses a pre-registration pallet in tandem with either a PRU table or Direct To Screen System.

There are a lot of registration systems on the market but the ROQ’s system is superior due to three factors,
The ease of access the ROQ open platform and lift up print arms provide.
The quick change and exact placement honeycomb platens.
The fact that the ROQ platen arms never need to be leveled.

ROQ’s Pre Registration Process starts with the positive image. If you are using film, ensure center marks are printed onto your film positives, these center registration marks align to LED cross hairs on the PRU table.

A PRU Table is essentially a ROQ print head placed upside down.

The table uses air clamps to position the screen securely so film can be placed. THE LED Cross hairs slide and lock into position so that your film can be placed directly onto the screen and taped positive position every time.

After exposure, the screens can be placed into the press. Once the screens are loaded, inked and off contact is set, simply slide on the ROQ pre registration pallet onto the press, hit print and walk with the pallet to the first print arm, hit stop and lower the print arm, with the screens unclamped, you can simply pull the screen to the side of the registration pallet until it bumps up to the registration points, once in position, lock the screens. Continue this through the rest of the screens in the job.

Once complete, simply replace the registration pallet with the standard honeycomb aluminum roq pallet.

Press begin and end sequence on the screen to print only one shirt for a complete test print. The ROQ registratio n system is extremely accurate and typically only small adjustments are needed if any. The use of a DTS printer which can be aligned to match the ROQ registration pallet can increase this accuracy even more.

This two color job was put on press and setup in under 5 minutes, thats less than 2.5 minutes per screen which would allow me to start printing and making money very quickly.
