What is Next Up Hero?

Описание: It's an action/dungeon crawler/character roguelike that seems promising, but I was only able to play the tutorial of for reasons that weren't entirely clear? If there's a single-player mode, why does failing to connect to the server keep me from playing? Kind of a bad sign on the launch day of your game, folks.
