Описание: יוני בלוך שבר את האינטרנט בימים שבהם עוד היה מי שתהה ״מה זה אינטרנט״? בעזרת שכר של מוכר במקדונלדס הוא הקים אולפן פיראטי בחדר ביתו, וממנו כבש בסערה את הרדיו ואת המסך הקטן. מאז הוא הספיק להפוך את הלהקה שלו לחברת סטארט אפ, להשאיר דור של מעריצים על קוצים ולעבוד על אלבום חדש שחיכינו לו כמעט כמו לרכבת הקלה.

בפרק חדש של ״שיר לערב חג״ בלוך התארח במטבח של הדיי עפאים לסשן של בישול, ניגון ושיח לכבוד ימי האביב. בזמן ששקדו על עוגה מפוארת, הם שוחחו על הקשר שבין בישול לבין תכנות, על חנונים מהפכניים ועל תחושת ההחמצה הבלתי נסבלת שמתעוררת מול תפריט במסעדה. בתנור: ״עוגת פילו יוונית עם משמשים תותי עץ וקרם חלב״, על הגיטרה: ״כל כך הרבה שירים״. לא מומלץ: לצפות על בטן ריקה.

Yoni Bloch broke the internet back in the days when some people were still wondering, “What exactly is the internet, anyways?” Using his wages as a cashier at MacDonald’s, Bloch built a pirate studio in his room and took the radio and small screen by storm. Since then, he managed to turn his band into a start-up company and kept an entire generation of fans on edge as he worked on a new album that we’ve been waiting for almost as long as the Israeli light rail.

In a new episode of “A Song for the Holiday Eve,” Bloch visits the kitchen of Hedai Offaim for a session of cooking, music, and conversation in honor of the spring holidays. While the two meticulously work on a fancy cake, they discuss the connection between cooking and programming, revolutionary geeks, and the unbearable feeling of FOMO when perusing a restaurant menu. In the oven: “A Greek filo cake with apricots, mulberries, and milk cream.” On the guitar: “So Many Songs.” Disclaimer: Don’t watch on an empty stomach.
