Strawberry Mead
2lbs of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1 gallon water (give or take)
3lbs honey
1 tsp yeast nutrient
1/2tsp tannin
2/10th tsp pectic enzyme
2 campden tablets
1 packet of Lalvin Bourgovin RC212
Mix warm water and honey, add just enough water to achieve a specific gravity of 1.100. Add Strawberries, and all other ingredients. Stir just a little. Add lid and airlock. Let sit until airlock activity has stopped. Test specific gravity (aim for under 1.00)
