About the game:
Maniac Mansion is a 1987 graphic adventure video game developed and published by Lucasfilm Games. It follows teenage protagonist Dave Miller as he attempts to rescue his girlfriend Sandy Pantz from a mad scientist, whose mind has been enslaved by a sentient meteor. The player uses a point-and-click interface to guide Dave and two of his six playable friends through the scientist's mansion while solving puzzles and avoiding dangers. Gameplay is non-linear, and the game must be completed in different ways based on the player's choice of characters.

Plot:
The game takes place in the mansion of the fictional Edison family: Dr. Fred, a mad scientist; Nurse Edna, his wife; and their son Weird Ed. Living with the Edisons are two large, disembodied tentacles, one purple and the other green. The intro sequence shows that a sentient meteor crashed near the mansion twenty years earlier; it brainwashed the Edisons and directed Dr. Fred to obtain human brains for use in experiments. The game begins as Dave Miller prepares to enter the mansion to rescue his girlfriend, Sandy Pantz, who had been kidnapped by Dr. Fred.

About the run:
So here it is, my Speedrun of Lucas Arts Adventure Masterpiece Maniac Mansion.
In the Amiga Version the inner Lab door is locked and not open like in most other versions of the game (or have a secret default code that always works like on the NES).
I decided to create a new Route using the most useless character Jeff to be our Mainhero.
There are some glitches I wanted to utilize in this run (Edna Skip, Green Tentacle Skip and Purple Tentacle Skip), maybe there is a faster route with the skips.
To open the inner door lab you need the code from the arcade machine Dr. Fred is playing and also you have to check the code using the quarter from the safe.
After you repaired the wires, it takes round about 4 minutes until the cutscene appears, so in this window there is room for errors. All the important tasks can be easily be finished in this 4 minutes, so to not just stand there and wait I am doing my swag strat and try to feed Green Tentacle and still have enough time to go back to the front door. So the whole feeding stuff is just for fun and to kill some time.

I did a lot of tiny mistakes, but nothing to wild so my current time is okay I guess.
