[HD] BNSF R-CAL0031 Pasadena Local Chase from Claremont to Irwindale with MWD Spur Run!

Описание: Here is a chase of the BNSF Pasadena Local running on the Pasadena Subdivision from Claremont to the end of the line in Irwindale, CA.

We start off at Claremont by CP Cambridge on the Metrolink San Gabriel Sub, as the train from Kaiser Yard stops at the signal to be flagged by the dispatcher. With authority to pass the red signal secured, it continues onto the old jointed rail section in Pomona, and sets out 3 boxcars by the runaround track for it to spot on its return trip. From this point forward, the local will run adjacent to the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension, still under construction. For that reason, the train must stop at every crossing for activation.

The train then continues west, stopping at La Verne for the MWD plant. It shoves down the run-down industrial lead to pull and spots a chlorine tank car, a rare sight that occurs only once a month. This is one of the final sections of the Pasadena Sub that still retains its original identity from its Santa Fe days.

With its first industry work complete, we follow the local further west along the former ATSF Second District territory, passing the notable San Dimas depot now being used as a museum and offices for the Pacific Railroad Society. The train is seen at a few more locations in Glendora and Azusa by the old depot before arriving in Irwindale, where its next customer sits.

Q&B Foods is at the very end of the branch, on a lead that wraps around the south end of the former MillerCoors (now Pabst) brewery. The train pulls into the runaround siding, cuts away lite power to pick up a tank, then runs around and shoves another tank inside. With its Irwindale work complete, the train retraces its steps back east.

Upon arrival back at Pomona, the train pulls ahead of the cut of boxcars it left behind earlier, and shoves against it to serve Warehouse Specialists Inc, where it will pull and spot 3 cars each. Once wrapped up, the Pasadena Local gets the signal at CP Cambridge and proceeds back onto the San Gabriel Sub for Kaiser Yard. A Metrolink train with an F59PH leading makes a quick station stop at the Claremont depot on its trip to San Bernardino. Thanks for watching!
