On 02/06/25, I took my first ever trip with Jet2.
Today’s flight was from Birmingham airport to Zakynthos airport in Greece. Today’s flight was with Jet2, a 737-800 aircraft departing BHX at 4pm and arriving at ZTH at 9pm.
I arrived at the airport at around 10am, and proceeded through my self check in which was very efficient and only took around 5 minutes, this was soon followed by security which took about 5 minutes too. After all of this it was time for duty free and to get some food and drink.
Todays gate was in Jet2s own “area” at BHX, I managed to get first in the queue and we boarded at around 2:30pm ready for our departure slot at 2:55pm.
Unfortunately there was an hour delay with the fuel and the passenger assistance and we didn’t depart until 4pm.
The flight itself flew by (unfortunately no toasties 🙄), and we arrived into a beautiful Zante sunset!
