In Other News, Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee hit out at the Centre after CBI officials questioned his wife Rujira on Tuesday in connection with a coal scam case. Alleging that the CBI’s letter to his wife was timed to stop him from visiting Tripura, Abhishek Banerjee proclaimed that “we will never bow down, even if you behead me”.

The TMC accused the Centre of engaging in a “political witch-hunt” as an eight-member team reached Abhishek Banerjee's residence in the Bhawanipore area this morning to question his wife in connection with their investigation into the scam.
