After many different attempts, I finally managed to get a good journey on one of these fantastic KX09s that are spread out Hertfordshire. Whilst some are now fairly tired, this one remains strong and healthy with a fairly loud ZF to go with it (something this batch is known for).
KX09 GZA is based at Arriva's Hemel Hempstead garage and on was working a scheduled short 302 run only as far as St Albans. The journey contains some very good bits of kickdown and fast sections, including a hillclimb out of Hemel at the start, which the bus did effortlessly.
