Today in Council, we continued our 2026 Budget deliberations and approved a **4.6% tax increase**, reduced from the originally proposed 8.8%. It has been a thoughtful process balancing affordability with the services our growing city relies on.
I also want to highlight an upcoming opportunity for residents to share their input.
From **December 19 to January 9**, the City will be running a public survey on **Snow and Ice Services**. Your feedback will help guide service levels and future planning, so please take a moment to participate and share what matters most to you.
