Womba Djo - Funk o' matic

Описание: The Dutch percussionist Timothy van der Holst, together with Saskia van Vliet, Govert van der Kolm, Daniel Moura, Ton van der Kolk, and Jeanne van der Horst (aka Flop), forms the percussion group Womba Djo from Dordrecht. The band draws from various sources to create its unique 'Global Funky Percussion Music.' On this album, they perform original compositions primarily based on Ghanaian instruments and rhythms.

The album was recorded at The Rhythm Studios in Dordrecht in June 2000.
