Sleeve

Magic loop

Round 1 : make 1 sts, knit 19 sts off the stitch holder / scrap yarn (one side of the needle), knit 19 sts off the stitch holder / scrap yarn, make 1 sts (other side of the needle). 40 sts total

Round 2 - 10 : knit 40
Round 11 : k1, k2tog, k34, ssk, k1 (38 sts)
Round 12 - 21 : knit 38
Round 22 : k1, k2tog, k32, ssk, k1 (36 sts)
Round 23 - 32 : knit 36
Round 33 : k1, k2tog, k30, ssk, k1 (34 sts)
Round 34-43 : knit 34
Round 44 : k1, k2tog, k28, ssk, k1 (32 sts)
Round 45-51 : knit 32
Round 52 : purl 32
Round 53 : knit 32
Round 54 : purl 32
Round 55 : knit 32
Round 56 : cast off

Hood

Pick up 35 sts

Row 1: purl 35
Row 2: knit 35
Row 3-11: repeat row 1&2
Row 12: make 5 yo (place randomly) while knitting the rest of the 35 sts (40 sts)
Row 13 : purl 40 (purl yo sts at back loop)
Row 14-19 : knit the knit row, purl the purl row
Row 20: make 5 yo (place randomly) while knitting the rest of the 40 sts (45 sts)
Row 21 : purl 45 (purl yo sts at back loop)
Row 22-27 : knit the knit row, purl the purl row
Row 28: make 5 yo (place randomly) while knitting the rest of the 40 sts (50 sts)
Row 29 : purl 50 (purl yo sts at back loop)
Next : knit the knit row and purl the purl row until you reach 11.5 inches

Once you knit up the up until you reach 11.5 inches long, seam up the hood (watch video for seamless sts).
Once you done picking up sts. Make 5 rows of garter sts.
cast off

Sew both ends of the garter (watch video)


*sew the zipper to the knit sweater..
