The celestial objects of plants, dwarf plants, comets, asteroids and satellites will be detailed. The role of the Earth’s axis tilt will be examined in relation to the seasons we experience throughout the year.

The lunar phases will be depicted before both lunar and solar eclipses are explored. The explanation of both eclipses will incorporate the use of simple diagrams to help you with your study as well as a specific emphasis placed on the location of the sun, moon and earth in each eclipses. Examination questions will be completed throughout so you can see how to achieve as many marks as possible in the final Junior Cycle exam.
