Finding an art style is hard, luckily there are a lot of youtubers with helpful tips on finding a drawing style. To summarize these hundreds of videos, I have made this video so you can follow step by step with me in finding an art style. This guide is both for beginner and intermediate artists.

I have watched videos of Marc Brunet, Sinix, Kelsey Rodriguez and Samdoesarts to find out what they had to say about finding an art style and if it would help me with finding my own style. Some youtubers say that it's important to find your art style before you start creating, in order to develop a unique voice and style. However others say that an art style is not necessary. I think it is good to take the time to study other artists and it definitely helped me with my art progress.

Learning to draw and paint is a long term commitment. So after having found a style that you like, you still need to do a lot of colours studies, learn about colour theory, composition and anatomy. and also of course all the art fundamentals. However, this video is for all the self educated artists who don't know what they want to do and how they can improve their paintings and art skills faster. This video will provide you with my journey in trying to find an art style.
