New driving video! This time, these are scenes filmed on various days, at various hours.
The timeline is:
00:03 Bulevardul Aerogarii, we had to start somewhere, and since soon after we take on an adjacent street, we started here.
00:31 Nicolae Caramfil street ( one of the largest streets in Bucharest, and straightest)
01:30 Pipera Road ( Soseaua pipera) The main street to head to the Financial Center, where all the skyrise and business offices are located in Bucharest
03:29 Victoriei Road ( Calea Victoriei ), one of the oldest streets in Bucharest. During summer, the street is closed to all cars and only pedestrians are allowed. 06:54 Gheorghe Ionescu Sisesti Road (soseaua ), one of the longest 2 lane street in Bucharest, if not the longest one. Located in northern part of Bucharest, is an area still in development, with new housing complexes under construction. An otherwise quiet street, with speed limits however.
10:15 Nicolae Golescu street, a chic street with couple of great terraces and restaurants, located behind the Romanian Atheneum, a street that should be closed to car traffic, due to many pedestrians in the area, yet still open, so I had to film it from behind the wheel.
11:02 Floreasca Avenue, an old street, with many old houses, leading to the Promenada Shopping Mall and the Financial District. A chic street that recently has seen a rise in development, many great restaurants, a beautiful park with a view to that lake. Filmed at sunset.
14:21 Constabulary Street ( strada Jandarmeriei ). Named after the largest Military Constabulary Unit in Bucharest. On one side of the street lies the buildings and spaces for the Constabulary, and on the other side, the Baneasa Forest, with the Stejarii Neighborhood, deeply camouflaged withing this forest. A rich-men neighborhood, very expensive, with a country club and swimming pool.
