Nikon-P500 external Power supply mod
I've used wood for making a dummy battery for this camera the same technique can be used to make the same type of adapters for other cameras but just keep in mind the input voltages.
I'am using a good quality power bank that i trust as it has some over volt protection features some cheap wall adapters or power banks my lack this feature.also keep in mind that you may have to use a booster circuit for cameras that needs more than 5 volts. in my case this method works great
the camera does have a micro usb port but its a kind of proprietary micro usb port so I didn't have the cable, that's why i attempted this.
