Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a five-nation tour from July 2 to 9, visiting Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia to boost ties with the Global South. In Ghana, focus areas include vaccine manufacturing, critical minerals, and digital infrastructure. In Trinidad and Tobago, Modi will deepen diaspora ties and address Parliament. In Argentina, he’ll meet President Milei to discuss rare earths, energy, and healthcare. Brazil will host him for the BRICS Summit, with talks on global governance reforms and defence cooperation. Bilateral discussions will also cover AI, climate change, trade, and digital innovation across the region.
