The Worst 700 Mile Road Trip to Drift a $10M Mansion (In a Slow Car!)

Join us on an journey with our Nissan Gloria as we prepare for and conquer the epic Drift Mansion event! Over the past two years and 12 events, our Gloria has proven its reliability and performance, but it's time for a thorough check-up. With dirt drops, gutters, and 5,000 miles of driving under its belt, we're diving deep into every aspect of the car to ensure it's in top shape.

We start with a complete inspection, followed by a little livery install. Inspired by JackultraMotive, Dustin whipped up an awesome design that we installed just before the event.

The journey wasn't without its challenges. Our truck broke down 2.5 hours away on the 4th of July, leaving us stranded with no help available. We had to scramble to find a U-Haul to keep our journey alive. After a 45-minute drive to find a hotel, a grueling search for a hauler, and overcoming various obstacles, we finally made it to the Drift Mansion late but ready to drive.

Track day at Little Talledega was an unforgettable experience. The speed, space, and fun were unmatched – probably my best driving yet! The Drift Mansion itself is every car enthusiast's dream. With a $10,000,000 mansion, an 8,700 sq. ft. home, and a ⅓ mile circuit race track, it was a paradise. The event featured incredible giveaways from Grip Royal, Little Talledega, and more, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Throughout this journey, I faced moments of self-doubt and imposter syndrome, but the support from the driving community and friends made it all worthwhile. Special thanks to Grip Royal, Choe, Evan, Jackson Hazen, Dustin Korth, Rebekah, Driver Motorsport, and Brett for all their help and support.
