El ITS San Giusto (L 9894) es un buque de asalto anfibio tipo Landing Platform Dock (LPD) de la Marina Militare italiana, construido por Fincantieri y en servicio desde 1994. Es el tercero y más moderno de la clase San Giorgio, especializado en operaciones anfibias, ayuda humanitaria y entrenamiento.
Aeronaves: Capaz de operar con 3 helicópteros CH-47 o SH-3D, o hasta 5 AB-212.
Dimensiones: 137,3 m de eslora, 25 m de manga y un desplazamiento de unas 7.950 toneladas a plena carga.
Propulsión: Dos motores diésel GMT A 420.12 que permiten una velocidad máxima de 20 nudos.
ITS San Giusto (L 9894) is an Italian Navy Landing Platform Dock (LPD) amphibious assault ship, built by Fincantieri and in service since 1994. It is the third and most modern of the San Giorgio class, specializing in amphibious operations, humanitarian aid, and training.
Aircraft: Capable of operating with 3 CH-47 or SH-3D helicopters, or up to 5 AB-212s.
Dimensions: 137.3 m in length, 25 m in beam, and a displacement of approximately 7,950 tons at full load.
Propulsion: Two GMT A 420.12 diesel engines that allow a maximum speed of 20 knots.
