can you hear the message from the dead? the fugitives hail from billings, montana, with members roger jackson on bass, ed mcluskie on drums, bill hammond on guitar, and dick porter on guitar. this song was unreleased for fifty years before it appeared for the first time on the garage comp album "long time comin': lost sounds of the treasure state". the other song from the fugitives on there was a live recording of "don't you know," which was released on what's happening records. the inside sleeve of the album just says this instrumental was a "kessler recording," so i took the liberty of making my own record face for it. i really like this song, as i do many of the tracks on this awesome album. it has some mystique to it and i don't think there is a single skip on it.
