Winhill in Peak District was serving up the full experience on this one 🌧️⛰️
We headed over to Win Hill for a Saturday group ride, but the weather had other plans. The trails were soaked, the roots were slick, and every descent demanded total focus. Conditions were seriously sketchy — the kind that keep your heart rate high even when you’re not pedalling.
“Steep for Sheep” , picking careful lines with a Chance of Death”… and in these conditions, they definitely lived up to the reputation. Sliding turns, surprise puddles, and that constant battle to stay upright made it one to remember.
This is Peak District mountain biking at its rawest — technical, unpredictable, and ridiculously fun when you’ve got a solid crew to share it with.
