Описание: ATTEMPTED ASSASSIN SENTENCED | Ryan Routh, convicted of attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump in the fall of 2024, was sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday.

The incident occurred while Trump was playing golf at his club in West Palm Beach.

Routh is challenging the proposed sentence enhancements, arguing they should not apply as there is no evidence his actions were intended to influence or retaliate against the government.

He contends that the crimes he was convicted of do not qualify as "federal terrorism."
