In this brief introduction video, Frank and Dean Garrido discuss how the Cabinet Hero was created and how their small family business operates today.
Frank Garrido has been in the cabinet finishing industry for over 25 years in San Diego, CA with his shop OWA Finishing. During his time finishing cabinets, clients constantly had to have a few problem area spots refinished due to water damage or daily use. Even when using top of the line industrial grade coatings these area would still see damage.
In an effort to minimize this issue, Frank developed a simple protector that could easily guard these problem areas. Typically the Trash pulls outdoors or cabinets under the sink.
Today Cabinet Hero Inc. is run by Frank and his son Dean Garrido. Together they are developing new protectors for the vast variety of Cabinet styles and thicknesses that are on the market.
