COOLALINGA
Coolalinga is an outer suburban area in Darwin. It is 29 kilometres (18 mi) south east of central Darwin, 10 kilometres (6 mi) south east of Palmerston and 6 kilometres (4 mi) east of the proposed city of Weddell. Its Local Government Area is the Litchfield Municipality. The name was first used by Len Cant for his store and caravan park on the Stuart Highway. Since Coolalinga Store, the area has become an important commercial centre for the Shire.

Coolalinga Central is a new & modern shopping complex located on the Stuart Highway at Coolalinga. Home to Kmart, Coles & a variety of specialty stores including fashion, fresh food & personal services. Plus a Food Court & all the major take-away brands.

Coolalinga Central is home to Kmart, Coles, Kaisercraft, Cotton On, Cotton On Body, Liquorland, MyCar, Chemist Warehouse plus a variety of national brands and unique specialty stores. The Centre also boasts a large food court with an array of international dining options.

Plus, every Sunday from 10am to 3pm the Centre welcomes the Cooloolinga Central Community Markets with a variety of interesting and creative stalls. It’s a great day out with plenty of shopping and dining options and it’s air-conditioned too.
