Banana Crumble Pudding

Описание: I have been wanting to try my hand in making a decent banana pudding ever since I tried my first very first one here in middle Tennessee, and it turned out to be quite the treat. It's a bit of a mash-up between a fruit crumble and a custard-based dessert, and really shines if you have each step of the recipe finished for a quick after dinner dessert that hasn't become soggy throughout the day in the fridge, but I'm sure some may prefer that style. Ingredients:
Custard:
3 egg yolks
1/4 cup sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp vanilla paste
1/4 tsp turmeric (optional)
1 cup milk or cream
4 tsp butter
1 whole banana

Roasted Banana:
2 tbsp butter
1 whole banana, sliced lengthwise

Crumble:
4 tbp brown butter
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp vanilla paste
small pinch of salt

Brown Sugar Whipped Cream:
1/2 cup heavy cream
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp vanilla paste
small pinch salt
