Ballerina Farm, Trad Wives & Gender Roles: Why we CAN'T "Leave her alone to live her life."

Описание: Welcome back for an unplanned part 2 of this conversation about Ballerina Farm, Trad Wife influencers, gender roles and why I think this is an important conversation for all of us. Let's dive in!

This first conversation was much more of a backstory and deep dive into the life of Hannah Neeleman, the woman behind the Ballerina Farm brand. We looked at her history, and then some of the parts of her life that often aren't seen at first glance, dived into the Times (hit?) piece, and looked at the question of freedom around her life.

The response to that video were FAR ranging and I loved the conversation! Thank you if you watched and commented! So I wanted to continue that and dive deeper into the ideas of freedom in choosing to stay home as a mother, and what society is currently bringing to that choice. Then a look at how we balance critical thinking with criticism, and how much we need the former but it doesn't automatically become the latter. We're also circling back to the Mrs World conversation, and talking about how we have give women freedom to do something like that post partum, while also creating a world where we can change society's damaging post partum expectations on women.
