Starting with the Hunter Exam arc, it begins a bit slow as it's the introduction, but it picks up its pace and is overall great. We placed it in the low A tier.
Next up is the Zoldyck Family arc. This short and sweet arc doesn't feature any significant events. One gripe is that it missed a perfect opportunity to introduce Nanika. For us, it's a low B tier, but if you disagree, feel free to make your own rankings on the Tier Up app.
The Heaven’s Arena arc is a classic tournament arc that also introduced Nen and had the iconic Gon vs. Hisoka fight. We placed it in the mid-A tier.
York New City needs no introduction. It's an easy low S tier due to its intense story and character development.
The Greed Island arc is a hit-or-miss. Sometimes it's too slow, and other times it keeps you on the edge of your seat. We ranked it as a high B tier.
Finally, the Chimera Ant arc started very slow and is a bit too long, but the peak fiction of Gon and Meruem’s character arcs undoubtedly puts it in the S tier.
