The James Cotton Blues Band is Steve Freund( Sunnyland Slim, Koko Taylor, Lonnie Brooks, Otis Rush, Bo Diddley and 12 yrs w/Cotton), Tom Holland( Eddie Clearwater, Mississippi Heat, John Primer and 15 yrs w/Cotton), Cros Charles Mack( bass for 10 yrs w/James & IBC winner) and June Core(drums w/Musselwhite , James, Robert Lockwood)plus Mark Hummel playing and singing James’s role as front man. Hummel produces The Blues Harmonica Blowouts(Mayall, Musselwhite, Huey Lewis, Lee Oskar, Magic Dick)for 30 years that featured Cotton on seven national tours as part of that event. Cotton commented “Mark is All About The Music”. Mark has a Grammy nom in 2013 and two Blues Music Awards, 30 albums to his credit.
