Tribes of Europa is a new Netflix show about life in Europe after a global blackout in 2029 causes a collapse of the world as we know it. The old nations disappeared. Countless micro-states emerged, developing their own beliefs and cultural identities. These became the Tribes of Europa.

Synopsis
2074. In the wake of a mysterious global disaster, war rages between the Tribes that have emerged from the wreckage of Europe. Three siblings from the peaceful Origine tribe - Kiano (Emilio Sakraya), Liv (Henriette Confurius) and Elja (David Ali Rashed) - are separated and forced to forge their own paths in an action-packed fight for the future of this new Europa.

We follow a trio of siblings from the peaceful Origine tribe - Kiano (Emilio Sakraya), Liv (Henriette Confurius) and Elja (David Ali Rashed). Their tribe considers technology to be the reason the Old World crumbled. So they try to live a peaceful life, withdrawn in the forest, living in harmony with nature. We meet three other tribes in the opening episodes:

· The Crimson Republic consists of the remains of the European Eurocorps army which is trying to uphold a reminiscence of civilization and to protect other tribes.

· The Crows, who embody a dictatorial system, are driven by a merciless urge to expand and enslave other tribes. Yet, with all their brutality, they follow a samurai-like code of
honour and live an abysmal party and sex culture.

· The Atlantians are the most mysterious and technologically advanced tribe of all. For some reason they have survived the Global Blackout unscathed and live on an undiscovered base.

It is the Atlantians who set the story of the TRIBES OF EUROPA in motion. One of their pilots crashes near a village of the Origines. He is chased by a troop of Crows under their leader Lord Varvara (Melika Foroutan). She wants to take control of the mysterious cube from the wreck. The warriors kill the villagers and take the rest prisoners, among them Jakob (Benjamin Sadler) and his son Kiano (Emilio Sakraya). But they fail to get hold of the
cube, because the dying pilot (Michael Erpeling) managed to give it to Kiano’s brother Elja (David Ali Rashed) covertly. Elja has to promise the pilot that he will return the cube to the Atlantians as it contains records of enormous importance, a message on which the fate of the entire human race depends. Thanks to Moses (Oliver Masucci), Elja manages to
escape from the Crows and together they embark on an adventurous journey through Europe in the year 2074 – in search of the legendary Ark, the clandestine base of the Atlantians.

Elja’s and Kiano’s sister Liv (Henriette Confurius) survives the attack seriously injured and is saved by David Voss (Robert Finster) and his elite soldiers from the Crimson Republic. With the help of captured Crow warrior Grieta (Ana Ularu) she wants to make it to the Crow metropolis Brahtok to free her family – a mission almost impossible. While the three siblings have to find their own way, the fight for predominance of the Tribes of Europa
reaches a new dimension …
