Severn Valley Railway - Railway 200: Trains through the ages - 05/07/2025

Описание: The weekend of the 5th-6th of July saw the Severn Valley Railway hold their anticipated Railway 200 event, trains through the ages. With a plethora of different attraction’s located around the line, including the Inspiration train on display along with the country’s first hydrogen-ready passenger train: HydroFLEX at Kidderminster Station. A section of narrow gauge track had been laid outside of the Engine House so that the narrow gauge guest locos, 1877-built Chaloner and 1902-built ‘Holy War’, could offer footplate rides. The standard gauge operational fleet consisted of many different locomotives throughout railway history, with 1930s steam and 60s diesel electric & hydraulic power, alongside DMU and auto-train services.
