That is a shortcut that people who know that there are "no free lunches" in this life know that is likely based in non-goodness. Goodness, righteousness, human-ness recognizes that our life only has meaning or purpose by not taking the shortcut. If we keep getting enamored by these shortcuts, we will be giving away our free-will and, therefore, our human-ness, our mortality, our spirit.
