Another essential step is asking yourself gentle, simple questions starting with “what” instead of “why.” This encourages your brain to seek solutions rather than getting stuck in negativity. For example, if you want to smoke less, ask: “What’s one small thing I can do today to smoke a bit less?” Practice brief visualizations, imagining yourself calmly overcoming obstacles. Also, solve tiny problems first to gain confidence and control. So, think about this now: what’s a gentle and positive question you can ask yourself daily to support your desired change?
