In part one of this video 2.21 minutes you will see in pictures the restoration of a 1960 offset Green Taarup S1500 single chop forage harvester.
Owner Stephen Grawford purchased this harvester to restore to working order.
This harvester was bought new in 1960 by the Ward family from Taarup dealer Cyril Johnston of Belfast.
This harvester remained on the same farm from new until Stephen Crawford bought it for restoration.
You will see the condition of the harvester when purchased and the strip down and rebuild of the Taarup S1500 at Spratt Engineering.
Part two will show video footage of the restored harvester at work cutting silage powered by Stephen Crawfords restored Ford 6X 5000.
