A Rio Claro woman identified as Carissa Nishta Ramrattan died at hospital after being shot on the compound of the Toyota car dealership in South Park, San Fernando, this morning July 13th, 2024. Ramrattan went to the nearby South Park Mall to get something to eat, when, while on her way back she was attacked and shot. Her handbag was reportedly stolen by her attackers. Ramrattan was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The businesswoman got married just one year ago to her husband, Nyron Ramrattan.
