Gravity and God are free, and you already honor one of them without even thinking about it.

But many people ask God to bless businesses built according to blueprints that dishonor His direction. They're built with fragile human wisdom—even if they are good or seemingly godly ideas.

However, when you ask God for the business He Himself is desiring to establish—and you listen and follow Him, being established by Him—it will be blessed from the foundation up, and in a way that only God Himself will be able to receive the glory.

That business is existentially sustainable because it has been established on an eternal foundation by the One who sustains the entire universe by His Word. Because He is its Author and Finisher, that business will go on for as long as He desires for it to go on—and if He desires for it end, it will come to an end and you will KNOW its end is a good thing because He is the One doing the establishing and dissolving.

That kind of confidence and sustainability does not exist when something is a result of one’s own own strength and ingenuity.
