The disciples saw the problem through the lens of scarcity:
It’s too late
We’re in a remote place
We don’t have enough
Someone else should solve this
But Jesus reframed the situation with a simple question:
“What do you have?”
Through this miracle we discover a powerful Kingdom pattern:
Jesus takes it, blesses it, breaks it, and gives it.
What looked like insufficiency in the hands of the disciples became abundance in the hands of Jesus. And that same pattern still shapes the lives of those who follow Him today.
God doesn’t bless our lives so we can become more comfortable.
He blesses our lives so we can become bread for a hungry world.
