Sigaw ng Bayan: Darna! is short film i made way back 2009-
2010 as a tribute to Mars Ravelo's Darna. the files got
lost in the process and some footages got corrupted that's
why the film was shelved as i was entering college level at
that time.
Recently my friend brought a hard disk reader and we
finally retrieved the lost files from my old desktop. We
watched the old clips, laughed and brought back memories of
our childhood and we have decided to re shoot some scenes
and re edit my old footages.
The script and visuals were heavily inspired directly from
the 1950 comics of Darna, and made to reflect our lost 1951
Darna film, the very first Darna movie release. so expect
some old school effects and baryotik scenes. it is also a
homage to the Darnas of my childhood, Darna 2005 and 2009.
