This documentary-style aerial exploration examines the remains of The Beach Waterpark in Mason.
Opened in 1985, The Beach Waterpark was built to bring a coastal-themed experience to inland Ohio. At its height, the park featured a large wave pool, multiple water slides, a lazy river, sand volleyball courts, and live entertainment. For more than three decades, it served as a summer destination for families across Warren County and the greater Cincinnati area.
After years of ownership changes and growing competition in the regional attractions market, the park permanently closed in 2019. Since that time, the property has remained largely dormant, with its structures and attractions left in place.
Filmed in 2025, this narrated drone footage documents the current condition of the site from above. The video provides historical context while visually preserving the layout and scale of the abandoned waterpark as it stands today.
