Yemen War Begins! Saudi-Backed Forces Launch Offensive As Houthis Surround Taiz, Strike Saudi Aramco

Описание: Yemen’s war has entered a dangerous new phase as the Saudi-backed government announces a major military operation to retake all territory controlled by the Iran-backed Houthis. The escalation comes after Houthi forces reportedly seized a key area near Taiz, cutting a vital supply route linking the besieged city with Aden and tightening the group’s grip around Taiz. More than 70 people were reportedly killed in heavy fighting across Taiz and neighbouring areas, according to competing claims from both sides. The Houthis have also claimed fresh ballistic missile and drone attacks targeting Saudi Aramco facilities in Riyadh and Khurais, while Saudi-led airstrikes continue across Houthi-held areas. With the Bab al-Mandab and Red Sea region already facing major security concerns, the latest Yemen escalation could further intensify the wider Middle East crisis.
