Enjoy an exhilarating ATV ride along the breathtaking Black Lava Wall Trail near the majestic Mayon Volcano in Albay Province.

Albay Province is a beautiful destination in the Bicol Region, famous for its stunning landscapes, pristine beaches, and rich cultural heritage. At its heart lies Legazpi City, the vibrant capital known as the gateway to Mayon Volcano. This bustling city blends modern comforts with natural beauty, offering mesmerizing views of the volcano from various points.

We availed the Black Lava Trail with Zipline by Your Brother Mayon ATV and Tours.
Once booking is confirmed, staff will reach you out via sms or whatsapp for the confirmation and location info.


On the day of the tour, your guide will pick you up at your accommodation in Legazpi City, they have designated pick and drop area. But for us, since we are having our own car we went directly at the Your Brothers ATV Travel and Tour Location. From there, we receive a briefing on the basics of operating an ATV.
This introduction covers all the tips and guidelines you’ll need for a fun and safe ride.
After the briefing you will be choosing your helmet, they are having a lot of options and colors on display.

Then you will be given a test drive for around 5-10mins to be familiar with the ATV. After a short test drive, once you get comfortable with the controls, you can enjoy an ATV ride through the rugged lava wall trail near Mayon Volcano. You’ll feel the thrill as you navigate gullies, cross rivers, and conquer rocky terrain. The journey gets even more exciting as you drive past fallen boulders, inching closer to the stunning volcano.

After less than 2 hours we arrived at the rest stop at the foot of Mt Mayon. There’s a pavilion-hut and a rotonda where we parked our ATVS. We rested for few minutes and ate some snack to replenish our energy.

After an adrenaline-pumping ride and had our short break we trek towards the towering lava wall. As you reach its base, a short climb will take you to the top of this natural barricade, where a breathtaking, unobstructed view of Mayon Volcano awaits. Atop the wall, you'll find dark, sharp lava rocks stretching as far as the eye can see—a stunning reminder of the volcano’s powerful past eruptions.

We availed zipline which cost as Php. 300 per person.
It’s another thrilling experience of getting down from the black lava base.

After enjoying the view and trying out the zipline we make our way back down and drive back to the starting point.
