📖 English Description
Surah Yūnus is a Makkan chapter consisting of 109 verses. It was revealed during a time when the Prophet ﷺ and the early believers were facing rejection and denial from the Quraysh.
The Surah emphasizes:
The truth and divine origin of the Qur’an
The oneness of Allah (Tawḥīd)
The certainty of resurrection and accountability
The fate of earlier nations who rejected their prophets
The importance of patience and steadfastness
It presents the story of Prophet Yūnus (Jonah, peace be upon him), highlighting sincere repentance and Allah’s mercy toward those who turn back to Him.
Allah says:
“Indeed, the allies of Allah – there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.” (10:62)
The Surah reassures believers that guidance comes from Allah alone and that ultimate success belongs to those who remain firm upon faith. It calls to reflection upon creation and warns against arrogance and denial.
Surah Yūnus strengthens the heart with trust in Allah’s promise and certainty in His justice and mercy.

📖 الوصف بالعربية
سورة يونس سورة مكية، عدد آياتها ١٠٩ آية، نزلت في مرحلة اشتد فيها تكذيب المشركين للنبي ﷺ.
تركّز السورة على:
بيان صدق القرآن وأنه وحيٌ من عند الله
توحيد الله تعالى
الإيمان بالبعث والحساب
قصص الأمم السابقة وعاقبة المكذبين
الدعوة إلى الصبر والثبات
وتذكر السورة قصة نبي الله يونس عليه السلام، وتبيّن أثر التوبة الصادقة وسعة رحمة الله لمن رجع إليه.
قال الله تعالى:
﴿أَلَا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ﴾
سورة يونس تُثبّت المؤمن، وتدعوه إلى اليقين بوعد الله، والتأمل في آياته، والثقة برحمته وعدله.
