2.5 ounces grapefruit juice
11 ounces olive oil
11 ounces coconut oil
6 ounces shea butter
2 ounces castor oil
2 teaspoons grated grapefruit zest

INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare Lye Water: Carefully measure out the lye and water separately. Combine and stir until dissolved, then set aside to cool.

Melt Oils: Measure and melt olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter together; then cool to 130-140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Temperature Check: Ensure both lye and oil mixtures are between 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit and within ten degrees of each other before blending.

Blend to Trace: Add grapefruit juice to lye water, then blend with oils until the mixture reaches 'trace' - a consistency that leaves a trail.

Add Extras: Incorporate grapefruit zest, essential oil, and any colorants after reaching trace, then pour into mold.

Gel Phase: Warm the soap in an oven set to the lowest setting for 1 hour, then leave for 24 hours.

Cut and Cure: Remove soap from mold, cut into bars, and cure for 2-4 weeks in a well-ventilated space.
