Majh, Fourth Guru.

ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥
Har Jan Santh Milahu Maerae Bhaaee ||
O saints, O servants of God! meet me, my brothers.

ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦਸਹੁ ਮੈ ਭੁਖ ਲਗਾਈ ॥
Maeraa Har Prabh Dhasahu Mai Bhukh Lagaaee ||
Tell me of my Lord God, I feel hunger for Him.

ਮੇਰੀ ਸਰਧਾ ਪੂਰਿ ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਦਾਤੇ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨਿ ਮਨੁ ਭੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
Maeree Saradhhaa Poor Jagajeevan Dhaathae Mil Har Dharasan Man Bheejai Jeeo ||1||
My Bestower, the Life of the world, fulfil my faith. By obtaining the sight of God my soul is sated.

ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਿ ਬੋਲੀ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
Mil Sathasang Bolee Har Baanee ||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਣੀ ॥
Har Har Kathhaa Maerai Man Bhaanee ||
Lord Master's discourse is pleasing unto my mind.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵੈ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
Har Har Anmrith Har Man Bhaavai Mil Sathigur Anmrith Peejai Jeeo ||2||
The ambrosia of God's Name, is in every way, sweet unto my Soul, I quaff the Name Nectar-by meeting the True Guru.

ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ॥
Vaddabhaagee Har Sangath Paavehi ||
By great good luck, man finds God's congregation.

ਭਾਗਹੀਨ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਚੋਟਾ ਖਾਵਹਿ ॥
Bhaageheen Bhram Chottaa Khaavehi ||
The unfortunate ones wander in doubt and sustain strokes.

ਬਿਨੁ ਭਾਗਾ ਸਤਸੰਗੁ ਨ ਲਭੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਭਰੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
Bin Bhaagaa Sathasang N Labhai Bin Sangath Mail Bhareejai Jeeo ||3||
Without good fortune the guild of the righteous is not found. Without such an association one is soiled with the filth of sins.

ਮੈ ਆਇ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
Mai Aae Milahu Jagajeevan Piaarae ||
Come and meet me, O my Beloved, the life of the world.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਇਆ ਮਨਿ ਧਾਰੇ ॥
Har Har Naam Dhaeiaa Man Dhhaarae ||
Be merciful, O Lord God! and implant Thy Name in my heart.

ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੀਠਾ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਇਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਨੁ ਭੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੪॥
Guramath Naam Meethaa Man Bhaaeiaa Jan Naanak Naam Man Bheejai Jeeo ||4||4||
Under Guru's instruction, the sweet Name has become pleasing to my mind, and slave Nanak's soul is over joyed with the Name.
