It's been seven years since I was lucky enough to fly the F-16. Today, I try it out the Early Access DCS F-16 in DCS World, recreating my first Mission Qualification Training (MQT) flight in the big mouth Block 30 F-16. This is part one of a two part series including start up, taxi, takeoff, and air refueling. Misunderstanding controller settings advice from a veteran DCS pilot, apparently I had my pitch curve set backwards (-15 vs 15). Might have made the last part a little easier! Remember this is early access, so some features haven’t been implemented yet but will eventually be available as well as flight model updates.
